Re: Should the head still be the checkpoint trigger for fusi

I think it would make more sense for the checkpoints to be activated by the center of the bike and here's why: Let's say that my bike doesn't quite make it but my head activates the checkpoint. Since the bike is spawned from its center but the checkpoint is activated by the rider's head I will actually travel some distance in just a few milliseconds if i press B.

I would be ok with the center of the bike if there was a big red dot letting me know where it was exactly lol.

Center of front tire, I think that would work well.

I don't know... What if i cross the checkpoint while upside down? (As in the air) that would disatvantage me as my front wheel would be facing left. Center of the bike like in HD for me. It's the most consistent and its position doesn't vary much regardless of the bike's rotation.

I think the center of the bike is the fairest to activate checkpoints. We should not just get to the checkpoint even we didn't cross the gap, so, you need to make the jump correctly.

As for the finish line, it was always a pain when there's a track which you need to fly into it and then the rider is upside-down to activate the finish line with the head. i would also like the center of the bike, or even the rear wheel, so people will try to make an instant front flip brake at the finish.

Same argument can be said for center of bike, you are at a disadvantage if you are doing a nose wheelie. I dont like center of bike because you cant easily see exactly where the center of the bike is, its easy to see where the front wheel is.

I think the front tire is better than head, the face-plant finishes are kinda dumb, at least in my opinion.

I don't really care, but since you asked, I'd say make it like HD.

There's going to be some advantages and disadvantages with every option unless they come up with something strange
I'd still prefer the center of the bike over the front tire but i agree about the faceplant fishes as they do look kinda stupid.
