Re: Should the head still be the checkpoint trigger for fusi

i have slightly mixed feelings, i like the way it is now finishing head first because it kind of resembles finishing a race in track n field where the runner leans forward to cross the line plus it gives you 1 last maneuver to add to your run, but at the same time i hate how you can accidentally pass a checkpoint with your head when you didn't even make the jump. I think i would like the finish to remain the same but the checkpoints to be changed to front wheel triggered

I think that can just be fixed by clever CP placement tbh. Maybe not always, but certainly on levels below extreme it should be possible the majority of the time.

I'd say keep it as it is or change it to the center of mass of the bike. Those two make the most sense to me

yeah your right it is possible but for the people who know what they are doing and who care but for a lot of tracks on TC the checkpoint crash and pass can get a little frustrating and could be avoided without the head trigger

You should be going for a zero anyway Smeg!

I know what you mean, I guess we'll have to wait and see what they decide. I'm sure we'll all manage to adapt somehow!

i always do go for a zero mate and that is exactly why its frustrating, sometimes its the 1st checkpoint and you crash but still pass it then it makes you have to press the restart button and wait rather than just pressing B for quick start.

i dont rly mind if they keep it the same but it would be nice if the checkpoints didnt allow you to pass when your bike clearly crashed before the checkpoint

thats why they should add an speedrun mode that disables checkpoints and allows b button on complete track

Keep it on the head. It is an easy marker to know EXACTLY when you are passing the finish.

I like how it is now. I don't want to argue with somebody about whose crotch crossed the line first and then with the dvr watching a replay about it.
