Should the head still be the checkpoint trigger for fusion?

during last fridays stream was asked if we liked that the head triggered checkpoints or if we would rather see that the bike has to completly pass the checkpoint

so i though maybe a poll should be created were we can vote and discus this

i think the head only looks unnatural
it also allows to pass some obstacles without actually clearing the jump

The center of front wheel maybe.
Always thought it makes flying track finishes look a bit silly and unrealistic when you go head first knowing you gonna crash right after.

The head. Better that than seeing the bike finish without a rider and trigger the end of the track!

Well if you look at it like that then they better get rid of bailout too.

You have to activate bailout finish, its not default. So its only ever in place for fun, because the creator chose to do it. Like tricks, its not part of the core gameplay.

You kinda missed my point there.

Of course they would just have to make it so that the rider has to be alive and well happily riding the bike for the front wheel to trigger the cp.

I miss a lot of points, dont take it personally!

Personally, I just say stick to how it is, because some of us will moan regardless of the decision. Its another lose/lose imo.

Re: Should the head still be the checkpoint trigger for fusi

had a bit of a heated debate about this awhile ago with Malachyte (cant remember who else was there), with him arguing that the "head finish" must look ugly and could spoil an otherwise flawless run - and even though I disagreed with him I kinda see his point.

but I like the head finish personally, stretching for that extra hundredth at the finish line feels sort of rewarding imo and I hope they keep it.
