The small pipe connector is the same size as a Dummy Object, and about as big as 2 bricks flat end-to-end, & just slightly but shorter. Not including the valve.

Something I've just discovered is if you put 2 bricks next to each other, and center a small pipe connector with the valve facing forwards, then stack this 3 high, it looks like a tiny set of shelves
