if you like twitch shooters with maps the size of a shoe box and ****** players that take entire clips for them to spin round and kill you . this is the game for you .only trouble is you can always get a game and probably most of your friends list will be playing it .

I've been playing CoD for the last few years but not so much recently. I did pick up BO2 and I can say it's a much better game than Modern Warfare 3 in my opinion. That being said I never finished the campaign and I only occasionally jump online for some MP but that's more due to the limited time I have to game and the stack of unfinished games next to my console than the quality of the game. I didn't have a lot of trouble with campers, quick scopers and the like in MP but that could be because I mostly play hardcore specifically because it seems to be less popular among people who use those tactics.

If you have not yet played RDR I have to second CracklyRabbit's suggestion, that game was amazing. I'm also really digging Bioshock Infinite if you are into a more story driven shooter. And if you want a cheaper but admittedly shorter shooter experience I personally loved FC3: Blood Dragon (original FC3 was also a nice game).
