I have both DLCs for trials evolution, but when I get a map that requires the Riders of doom dlc, it says I don't have it and when it redirects me to the marketplace to buy it, it now tells me to buy origin of pain. Origin of pain works completely fine, it's just Riders of doom that's giving me the problem.
Note - I used a different account to buy the whole game, dlc and all, but when I play trials in that account, everything works fine. Playing the game on my main account is the problem.
If you bought the DLC on a different account, you will have to go on that account to load up the DLC, then sign out, sign in on your other account and it will be available. If you don't want to do that, do a license transfer from your account with DLC to your other one. Hope this helps.Originally Posted by Swaggyman
I've already licensed transferred, and when I tried doing what you told me to do, xbox just kept spamming me with "Could not load downloadable content"
I purchased and downloaded Trials Evolution through Xbox Live. It worked fine. Then I wanted to try user created tracks so I downloaded the "Origins of Pain" DLC. Once it downloaded, the original game completely vanished out of the "My Games" section on my XBox!
When I go to Xbox Account/Download History/Trials Evolution and then select "Play Now," it says "The game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again."
From Download History, if I go to Origins of Pain, then "Play Now," it says "To use this item, play the game it was downloaded for." But the game isn't there (Although, it's still on my hard drive, just not in the games section. And it won't start up at all.)
I already tried deleting both the original game and the DLC from my system and redownloading both of them but this yielded the same result. If I download just the game, it works, but I want to be able to utilize the DLC so I can play the user created maps as well. Please help!!!
I would try formatting the HDD. Just be sure to move all game saves to an external device first cuz formatting deletes EVERYTHING. Hope it works.
