    Slowmotion in Track Editor!

When I make a track, it is slow motion, and also when I test it, it is slow motion, it is really frustrating!! What can I do to get rid of this?

firstly search on here, there are loads of tutorials from very accomplished editors.
    http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...9-and-counting

but to get u started. vvvvv
second: turn all items NOT on the DL to decoration only (instead of default)
third: reduce the physics bubble ( the little square just in front of ur rider)
forth: reduce the draw and object distance ( at the bottom in environment settings)
fifth: be aware of what the camera is looking at, the more of ur track it sees the more
processing it has to do. if u are new to the editor (which im assuming u are)
my advice is to stick to a straight driving line.
sixth: using loads of particles in one area (water/smoke etc) will cause lag (slowing down)
seventh: the same goes for vegetation, specially grass (avoid using the thick grass)
eighth: turn off all light (light - - disabled) , IF NOT needed on, checkpoints, explosions, fire, etc.
you will still see them but they won't cast light.
there are loads of other things to do to help optimize ur tracks but if u stick to my suggestions above
you should be able to make a track thats payable.
    i hope this helps.
    good luck

K2nph, it has nothing to do with the track performance. It is the game itself. When I fire up the editor with nothing in the track, it already is slow, when I test the track with only driving line placed, it is lagging wtih only 15 frame rates per second. Trials Evolution: Gold Edition wasn't ported properly, and that's the biggest issue in the game!

i didn't realise when i answered this that it was for the gold edition,
    apologies.
i thought it was strange that none of the other helpful forum dwellers
had answered, now i know why.

    consoles rule,
    PCs suck
and always have done for gaming,
    buy a console.

Didn't you check the location of this thread? It says Board index » Trials Evolution Gold Edition (PC) » Gold Edition Support
well, actually ubisoft shanghai sucks, because they've ported & developed PC edition not RedLynx.
