I Don't Care.
Simply: The Single Players been screwed up a lot longer than Track Central has.
Therefore, I want them to get fixed in the correct order.
Although I love track central, a REALLY good track like some Willy & Barry put out is hard to find these days.
Loved Apathy tho Barry![]()
Thanks man! I agree, since so many builders are retired, on a break, out getting sunburnt, etc its very tough to find good tracks. I wont list a bunch of names who arent currently building, but suffice it to say its long! There's a ton of builders I miss and unfortunately the gap just hasnt been filled by new builders. Sure, there are some and some who are still improving and so on. But the number of good builders now, compared to the number who are inactive is lower. Making it tough to find a good track as frequently.Originally Posted by ShartRelief
Different people have different reasons for why they're on a break, why they think others are on a break and so on. But I'm not getting into that, I'm just saying its tougher to find a good track frequently due to fewer builders being active.
tc community can't improve people will keep making stair tracks and don't move etc and they will enjoy it
the thing tc needs is better sorting and rating etc
this so everybody can find the tracks they want if it's a high quality track for speedrunning or a bailout basketballgame
and about redlynx picks, they aren't just for the high quality speedrunning tracks, they are tracks from all difficulties and/or some nice looking stuffwith a line less suited for speedrunning(and for 99% of the players that doesn't matter because they aren't skilled enough to do it anyway)
if you want a redlynx pick just make a beginner/easy track that doesn't suck because they don't find those often
i just think its so sad for the 'original' community members that got so much from Trials HD, but not from EVO. I know theres been things said, for whatever reason, but it was posted somewhere that we done it to ourselves, and this is true cos whatever you look at it, it could have been prevented.
That said, i also think that HD in its day was a brand new concept of a game which made it popular for so long.EVO, although being an excellent game, was just a next, upgraded version of something already done..
i think that you have to be a member of this forum to get the most out of any of the trials games too...
I didn't want to be the person to bring this idea up because it's very controversial, but, if tracks do not need to be completed for it to Be rated then I think that will solve problems. If we look at it this way; mostly everybody under the sun can tell whether a track is of good quality or not, to some that track might be too hard to compete, so allowing those people to rate it or maybe to introduce a sort of "constellation" rating along with the real deal then the correct tracks will see the light of day.
I think the problem is not that there are less good track editors but that there are fewer editors gaining recognition because of the short time they are visible to everybody.
It'd be cool if the top 100 riders had a seperate rating system. That would oversight everybody elses.
Because they're more experienced riders and their votes could weigh heavier.
Kinda like the way the U.S. Gov works.
Every1 votes but theres really only a few hundred who actually decide.
Get what I mean?
NO, they could underrate the driving line if a track has a little driving line glitch, and also the background & detail (most top riders don't care theme, they only care driving line, and only the phoenix they want, or else they underrate a donkey/gecko only track, that could lead to have everything ninja in the top rated feeds if they have more rating power).Originally Posted by ShartRelief
Everybody has their opinion, and then it would have more top 100 multiaccounters because they want to rate their own track very high.
It might be neat to see a few ratings. Riders ranked 1-100, 101-1000 and 1000+
Then you could search for highest rated by certain groups.
Or alternatively have two systems for driveline and deco.
Or alternatively alternatively each demographic could rate driveline and deco separately. Now THAT would be cool.
