Im not that clued in on how this stuff works so I thought I'd ask here - if I wanted Halo Wars, could I start a new account and just set the location to Germany?

I don't see why not. Gotta be Gold though.

Not sure the weeks free gold thing from Ghosts would work here, but if it did it would probably be worth a free game

I think the free gold things just let you do online MP and use apps. No discounts.

Although there's a good case for "not complaining about free stuff", this Games for Gold thing is a bit of joke imo. Would have never even happened if it wasn't for what Sony was doing, they just wanted an easy "win" moment at their E3 thing - and even then, the games are either so old everyone has already been through them or just so mundane/poor most people cant even be bothered to spend the time it takes to download them

Yup.Clash of Heroes was pretty dang fun though. M$ really needs to adopt the PS+ model. It just doesn't make sense to have free apps part of a subscription.

Well, how many free shooter games have MS given us for gold? It's time to give some non-shooter RPG and either Trials HD or Evo for new Audiences in Trials (maybe after Fusion release?).

I recommend The Cave if you like puzzle/adventure. Blindly downloaded it after seeing 75% off the price and as a fan of old Ron Gilbert's games I just loved it.
