ive been on youtube and got to say it was as helpful as toothache.. please can some one tell me how to record using HD PVR and the total media extreme that it comes with..

You will need to set the Xbox to output voice through speakers to get party chat recorded. For recording your own voice you will need to record with a secondary mic, or split the output signal from your headset, and sync it in post.

wow..2 sentences nearly and i got it..cheers shifty.. there are so many people trying to give tutorials on youtube its unbelievable...ah well.. sorted now..

for my own voice, i will use a standing mic..i get it now...#doh

would you record seperate shifty using a desktop Mic for example, or split it on my joypad...Ive got some Turtle beechs now, and can do either way..i just want to know the best in your opinion??? thnx

One headset is easier, especially when using the turtle beach X-series.
