Hi Trials friends !

What do you think about to share a little about our trials experiences ?

We can share info to understand more clearly which aspects of Trials games we like more, and which ones could be better. Please tell us details about your choices if you have patience to do so.

Also, some PC players are facing problems, so I add a topic to tell Redlynx details about our systems and the problems that we have...

Of course, as usual, fell free to respond as much as you think it`s adequate and we can add new questions that you eventually suggest.

Which Trials games (versions/platforms) were you´ve been playing? Every PC version, Trials, Trials 2nd edition & Trials Evolution .

Which one do you like the most? Why? I like very much each one of the versions, 1st cause it was the 1st (Dah) , 2nd had a very nice country, team, achievements page, best bikes handling than 1st game, tracks etc, the Evolution Gold is the one that I like the most (even with problems), cause we have indoors and outdoors enviroments, diferent bikes, better variety, very good tracks in both (HD/Evo) and, of course, we have 2 games in one, HD & Evo

Best position you got in each one? 1st game I played very few, I even don´t remember if there was a world score ; Trials 2nd I got around 800 world position and 3rd in Brazil then I dropped to around 1100 and 5th respectively; Trials Evo Gold I got 84th position, now I`m around 94th...

Best tracks for you in general/each version ? Trials 2 - Steel & Concrete / King of the beer / QcHills - Trials Evo Gold - Megatrack/ all the hard & the extreme tracks, mostly cause I suck on them and they still represents a chalenge for me

Tracks that you don´t like in general/each version ? I hate "You shall not pass" on Trials 2nd edition, cause I never ended it I usually don´t like very much the tracks that have a oddly bike behaviour, when the bike sometimes seems to run out of your control - "Trials of limbo" & "Mind bender"

Most difficult tracks in general/each version ? Diablo/ Inferno/ You shall not pass on Trials 2nd edition ; Besides Inferno 2 & 3, I have specific hard times on Dark city run, The wreck, Going up (HD) ... Ninja I never tried very hard, but it seems to me that obstacles themselves are not that hard, but when you have a loooot together gets harder to finish it zero faulting... archipelago although visually stunning was upseting me every time cause I was not realizing small details that makes a lot easier to finish it ...

Any track(s) you never ended ? You shall not pass on Trials 2nd edition ; Test your Might on Trials Evolution Gold, and I´m playing only in computer, so I never had a chance to play the DLCs ...

Observations - Trials games are hugelly fun for me, very creative, I love the very precise bike control, and the fact that a game can be so rich with such basic controls- basically you can change pilot position, open gas, break, that´s all, but the level of complexity that comes from it it´s amazing!!! I hope that Redlynxs can fix the problems that are showing in the PC version ans I can barely wait new Fusion and Frontier.

Problems you are facing (specify details please) - There was frame rate issues, but it was getting better last weeks; last 2 days came back when running Dark city run (fast countdown and bike running like a rocket...)
Now I have a problem to go online. I start steam, them Trials, them I have a black screen for a minute or so (music background still playing). When game finally starts I can´t go online, I can´t check scores, world positions, play with other players etc ... when I start a track I can see only my bike don´t see my previous best run or other player´s ghosts). When I finish a track there is only my absolute time for that specific run, no previous records on that track...

Which Trials games? - Trials 2SE and on

Which one do you like the most? Why? - Probably HD. Seems like everything came together just right in that game. Evo is tons better on paper, but HD had that special something you just can lay a finger on.

Best position you got in each one? - 2SE: top 50, currently 182. HD: top 1000. Evo: 320ish. Evo Gold: 11

Best tracks for you in general/each version? - 2SE: Inferno, Diablo, YSNP. 0 faulting those made me feel "elite." HD: Container Rush, The Crow's Dojo. Evo: InfernoIII, Down in the Dumps, Fishy Business (was the first to plat that on the Micro Donkey).

Tracks that you don´t like in general/each version? 2SE: Flip tracks. HD: Reality Check. Evo: Sewage Plant

Most difficult tracks in general/each version? 2SE and HD: Extremes, particularly Inferno, Diablo, YSNP, and Pilgrimage. Evo: Easy tracks, because the plat times are tough, but none strike me as super challenging.

Any track(s) you never ended? - No

Observations - I have spent far more time playing trials games than any other game, probably all other games put together. Trials Evo Gold is now the only game I play.

Your system - The toe bone's connected to the face bone, via a network of various other bones.

Problems you are facing (specify details please) - I don't want to pick up another game. I don't think I could generate the interest even if I tried. I also don't want to get my xbox fixed just to play Trials on xbla. Evo Gold was supposed to be the answer, but the blunders have reduced the player base and competition level severely. TC is fun, and there are a few good builders, but that's not working, and even when it works it's slow and buggy. This game may be the nail in my gaming coffin.
