Where is Lestropie??
When I first got THD, lestropie was number 1 on everything! On the extremes, he was so far ahead, everyone thought he was a robot.
If he played it now, he'd probably be terrible. But the raw skill he had instantly was crazy, if he played the game as long as some of the top riders, he'd still be global number 1 on THD.
And I know this for sure...
Best Trials player is...whoever has the most #1s in both games. Probably High Deff.

But surely you knew that he played Trials 2 SE and was near the top on that from what I've heard, so it wasn't as if he got the skill instantly as he probably used a pad for Trials 2 SE and also had a lot of practice and understood trials more than anyone? I agree his times were INSANE when he was about, some times he set years ago are still top page or top 20.Originally Posted by Burnzeee
Could easily be Lestropie, as he shredded the boards early on THD, and left everybody to try and copy his runs for years. in 99.99% of the cases, they did not surpass him. He also beasted Trials 2, which would give him another feather in his hat.
As Ben1502 mentioned, High Deff did beast both THD and EVO, wich would make a strong case to pick him. My experience is that he is one of the only top riders who carried over their status to the next game. Correct me if I am wrong, as I don't remember the THD days too good![]()
Chicago AJ is IMO the undisputed king of EVO, and it seems to me like the other top riders only got close- and past him- because he quit racing, but I may very well be wrong on that.
TO sum up, I have no friggin idea which of the above mentioned criteria should count the most, thus revealing who's the best.. I fold..
This is a very hard question. There are so many facets of skill in Trials that I can't pick out one rider who I consider the best all time. Are ninja tracks included in this discussion? Should players who have only played evo be at a disadvantage because they didn't play past trials games. Should players who never moved on to evo also be at a disadvantage. There will never be one solidified answer to this question. I think High Deff is the most rounded player. He can speedrun and beast ninjas. If I had to choose one he would be the one I pick.
I didn't play HD so I can't really comment but from alot of talks with the top riders Lestrophe and burnzee are always mentioned. And deff.
As for evo,
Yuriyami
Xzample
Venomz
Connz
Deff
AJ
The word "potential" is thrown around alot I notice,
Tms is one rider to me that would have definitely been up there if he continued to play single player
Honestly It would be hard to pick one.
And I think these threads have been created to death already.
I'm just gunna say overall Deff
*Waits for another thread next week with the same question*
