The fun in a strategy game is in out thinking your opponents. Same as in a shooter.

Well, as the man above said it's intellectually stimulating, to use fancy words. It makes you think several steps ahead and requires some imagination, like chess. Civ IV is very slow, so if Trials has got you burned out, it's superb for relaxation. Soon you'll long for fast paced action.

i dont play all aspects of trials regularly enough to get fed up with them all at the same time. I will literally build in the editor for 1 or 2 months then i wont edit for a while and i will play track central for a month or so, then i may go back to building or if im still not rly excited about it i try and spend some time improving my rank in SP for a few weeks then i go back to the editor, multiplayer only ever gets about half hour to an hour from me as it just doesnt interest me enough but by playing the rest of the game as i have it has not gotten boring or tedious for me yet and i played Trilas HD for 4 years without getting fed up and that didnt even have Track central

i guess i just love trials too much
