How do you guys keep the game fresh?

Lately, I have become increasingly bored with this game. I know there are a ton of you that have three or four times as much play time as me and I wonder how you still can have fun.

I have played singleplayer to death and don't want to touch it again. Mutliplayer matchmaking is too broken to make it a fun experience. TC is slowly dying, only a few good tracks among a sea of crap. And the editor, I just can't build anything.

So, how do you guys still have fun with the game? Do you just mess around at times, if so, what do you do?

I play a lot of tracks from the early days of Evo. It's always fun to go back and play some of the ridiculous stuff people used to make.

I also spend a TON of time making videos and recording track clips. That keeps me busy and it also helps me discover new tracks.

I don't keep the game fresh. The people who upload good quality tracks keep the game fresh. The game isn't fresh because there are very few good quality tracks coming out. The game is as dead as a graveyard. <-- this is my opinion and I hope I haven't offended anyone.

P.S. I won't be playing this game probably ever again like I did before. Playing for rank is a waste of time for me. There is no real competition so I'm going to play competitions where there is competition and play custom tracks from time to time. RIP Trials Evo. 18/04/2012-01/01/2013. Bring on Fusion!

Your sub says Lukemski's custom tracks, and you say that you can't build?..
I know what you mean though about not wanting to do single player. Multiplayer has dwindled and track central is as track central dose.
I switch it up all the time now to keep it interesting sorta. I got a track that I am building for strictly this purpose that when really bored I'll go to and add one piece or do even just 5 or 15 minutes of work. I've had this track for about six months now and I basically keep toying with it. Been watching track central for those kick @ss builds. I seen a rare moment two days ago when clutch mysta flex's track got pretty high up in the "highest rated 48h" feed and no one was even on the tracks leader bourd. I thought that was funny.
Otherwise checking out the forums here and checking out tracks previously built by others.
I am ready for a new game.

Re: How do you guys keep the game fresh?

I, personally, have the drive to improve my skills. I've loved the game since day one, so why not get good at doing what you enjoy? Getting a run that meets my expectations of myself never gets old.

Multiplayer would have been great if Redlynx didn't cater the scoring system to casual players. There would have been some tough competition.

Track Central is still fun for me. Every day I see at least one track that I enjoy speedrunning.

Might try making another track soon.

Ninjas are boring AF to me. Sorry guys, but you already know that.

I just took about a monthish break from competing on Trials at all.

Just messing around in TC Here and there a few times a week.

Came back to SP and realized how much I've actually improved over the past few months (before I stopped playing).

You should try the same, I think you'd be surprised

Oh and as for SP, I just play a track I want to play. I don't get butthurt when I don't get a run either. I just take a break and go back at it tomorrow. Or a few hours later.
