    Fix this game already!!!

    I don't know if it's Uplay's fault or Redlynx, but ever since that last Uplay update my game crashes a lot, I can barely load the game, and track central crashes when I try and download a track half time. I am getting sick of it. Could a Mod or Dev please give a response on or if an update is in the works or if they have any idea what is wrong with Uplay. I don't even want to play anymore if this continues. I love trials and I love building but I can only take so much before it's just not worth the effort. I have talked to other and I know I am not the only one with these issues. Any response would be greatly appreciated. I haven't given up on Gold yet and I really don't want to. Please restore my faith in Trial Gold.

    since the last update i can´t connect to the server of trials, and because of that i can´t download tracks, play online and such.

    only I have fun with making records in singler player


    (and I mean the Uplay update)... I hate Uplay

    I agree. The last update did more bad than good and nobody from RedLynx is keeping us up to date of what they are doing, wich doesn't give me hope that it will ever be fixed. I don't care who's fault it is and I think we have waited long enough to start demanding answers. I don't want to give up on gold too, but if we don't get any fixes/updates in the near future they will officially have killed what remains of the game. And they don't have to say it's performance issues because I can play most of the tracks, and I can play like my tracks in editor with no lag, but when it's shared I have frame drops.
    I don't know if anyone has the same problem, but when I am loading a track and the uplay overlay is on, the track is always in slowmotion. So there is definitly something wrong with uplay too.


    I will keep bumping this thread until we get a response

    We still have devs looking into issues with TEGE. I will pass this information along to the team. If you can provide any further details that is very helpful for us. Many of the remaining issues being reported by players are proving hard to fix because we can't recreate them in testing. If it works for us it makes it very difficult to determine why it is not working for you so info on your rig set-up and in this case network set-up could prove very valuable to the devs (this is why you constantly see us asking for DxDiags in support posts).

    There have been some previous reports about crashes at start-up in which we identified some problems. One was network related and should have been fixed (perhaps the latest Uplay update has affected that), the other was related to using parallels on Mac computers. If you are using Parallels this is not supported so we have no solutions for it. You can try sorting this out with Parallels support (who have pretty active gaming forums) or use a native installation of Windows (installed via Bootcamp on Mac).

    If you have DxDiags or any other information you don't want to share on the public forums you can e-mail it to support@redlynx.com You may not get a direct reply but info sent there is read and filtered to the appropriate team member. This is also the best way to get info on problems to the devs as stuff shared to the forums can be easily missed.

    Hey Shogun. I am pretty sure the last Uplay update is the cause for my troubles. I never had any loading game issues before it. Basically when I load the game, the screen goes black right before the main menu where it says press enter. It then takes 20 seconds to load the menu. Then once I am in I can't access TC or multiplayer. I have posted my specs over in support a few months ago. I am not using a Mac. Having said that I do still have issues even when the game is working. Still long saving times on occasion. Also it takes forever to load feeds in TC. Are there any plans for another update? I know others are also still having issues that they shouldn't be having.

    To be honest, I think most of us have done this a few times already and your answer doesn't give us any new information we haven't already heard before. I will be doing it again when I have the time, but my question is if it's actually going to be used or not ( I'm not talking about only TC issues).
    The important question, wich you have left unanswered, is if you guy's are preparing an update/fix for the game (fixing TC, frame drop issues,...)

    Most info we have received about issues are things that we can not reproduce. If we can't reproduce the issue then it makes it very difficult to create a patch to address them.

    I hope you guy's don't see this as a rant, but as a genuine interest in the future of the game, because I love playing it but having to cope with these many issues everytime I want to play takes all the fun away.


    Yes, I know he answered it indirectly, but why not giving a direct answer? from the answer he gave, I have to assume there is no fix in the works because you guys can't reproduce the problems. And from that I have to conclude that if we send you guy's information on our rigs/problems you can't really do anything with it, so how is that helpful? Is there no other way we can give more or different information?

    And to be honest, with so many people experiencing so many issues, you are telling me you can't reproduce them? Maybe you should do an open-office day so people can come by with their pc's to show you?
    I mean, like Ubisoft, makes alot of games who work descent on different setups, but with this game it's all messed up and I'm trying to grasp the fact why issues can't be fixed for this game. I'm assuming other games have to be tested as well before a release on different setups, has this not happened for Trials? There was even a long beta periode, wich is exactly to avoid these issues.

    I could understand it more if not so many people where affected by it, but most people still have issues with alot of different things in the game. And it's not like the game is graphically challenging for most pc's like other heavy games are.

    I do hope you guy's are still interested in fixing most of the issues but to be honest, with all these indirect answers, my expectations are dropping by the day.

    Yes, I have problems since last update... my game doesn't connect to server ... very frustrating...

    Game takes around one minute from initial screen till be ready to play... but plays just offline...
