personally I think the game would be better off without these awards, but I'd imagine they will return

I agree with Willy...7 months later finally posted.
The wrenches are ok, but I would prefer to have a "Wrench Only" feed, so all the tracks made by those builders go in a single feed. RL picks would feature different builders. We already know 85% or more of wrench tracks are solid...no need to pick Izez every week. It would be nice to have them featured or call it Finest Creators feed...simple. Half of the RL picks are wrenches or they should have a wrench. It would nice to have all fresh creators under the RL picks. All of Medevil's tracks are sick, no need to pick them, it's obvious...and so on.
They should actually toss all icons and replace it with a "favorite builder" feature and be able to send friends tracks or look at "friends picks". Separate ninja feed for sure.
And have a true rating, instead of just an average of numbers...so 10 ratings at 5* is not as strong as 100 ratings averaging 4.5. Also have categories for ratings, originality, decor, line...so you can see where you need to improve, etc.

Yeah, its a shame RL can't do something nice for the special few because some others feel like they are owed some kind of debt for playing the game

The 10000 hours ideas are good, but they might as well just be achievements and imagine the dirge that would be created if people were building just to grind for an achievement

I agree, some can't just appreciate the fact that RL has given this kind of opportunity to us. Instead some get all butthurt when things don't work out the way they wanted it too. RL didn't have to do this kind of thing at all. They did it because (in my opinion) they wanted to show that they genuinely care about us and wanted to do something for the community.
