Where are all the online players? | Forums

I was able to find 1 player over the weekend.
Last week, I found 2 players at once! Granted, they both lagged something fierce and weren't very good riders.

However, I've been trying to play online every night this week and have found virtually zero players. I let it search for a few minutes before I give up to go play single player. I'm guessing someone would eventually join and I'd get a game, but I'm a little too impatient. Last night, I fell asleep with it searching for players and woke up 3 hours later to a results screen, so it did eventually find 1 player.

I'm just wondering if there are any tricks or something to allow me to find more players, or if it's just simply a lack of players out there. I'm guessing it's the latter, which saddens me. This is such a great game and this is the best version of it. I guess I will have to turn on my xbox if I want to play multi-player.

Which brings up another point:
Why can't Ubisoft & MS work together and make this game cross-platform? The PC following appears to be pretty weak, as evident by the lack of online players. Oh wait, it's Ubisoft...they don't play well with others. I can see why everyone hates Ubisoft (DRM, UPLAY, etc). Why do we need uplay when we already have Steam? Half the time, my track results don't appear on the leaderboard until I relaunch the game. PeerBlock has to be completely disabled for uplay to even let you log in. Sigh.....Ubisoft sucks. I work with a guy that buys pretty much every PC game as soon as they launch, except for Ubisoft. He refuses to buy ANY Ubisoft title. I was trying to follow his lead, but I am a big fan of Trials, so figured I would put up with it. But wow, I can see why he has beef with them. The only bad part of this game is the fact that Ubisoft is involved.

I think there are some online settings, but nothing that will really help, I think there are just too little people on mp for most of the time. Altough, most of the time I am able to find players, sometimes not tough. I think it depends what time it is too. Probably because of the bad launch alot of people stopped. I think the best thing you can do is add friends to play with (if you want you can add me). I hate ubisof too, but I guess I like trials more then I hate ubisoft

Online functions don't work at all for me atm so that might be a thing

I've played online once and the loading times make it totally unbearable.
