I know right, there might be a hidden battery so when you dis connect, it is still on but you can't see it still being on :OOriginally Posted by TheElmonator

I bet they word it in a very sneaky manner and a lot of people agree without realizing. If you plan on buying the xbone, I suggest you read all the fine print as you setup the system. I just dont trust Microsoft...Originally Posted by TheElmonator
Haha, yeah they will certainly have some evil scheme planned to get us to agree anywaysI hardly ever read the fine print, but in this case, I certainly will!
I too suffer of the lack of trust in Microsoft and the likes, although Sony seem to play nice from the get go. But I dunno... I may just not know enough about the PS4 yet.
Right now, with the changes they made, I feel like the only thing that makes me want to not buy the xbone, is that I can't unplug the hardware. And a hidden battery, why not, wouldn't surprise me for some reason![]()
The thing that set me off was this: I read this recently, I tend to not like it![]()
suspect that it has been molested by google translate, but it gets the point through)
Berlin - The Federal Data Protection Commissioner Peter Schaar has announced the Microsoft Xbox game console One criticism. "Under the heading, game device 'Microsoft pushes a monitoring device in the market," Schaar told SPIEGEL. "The Xbox continuously records all sorts of personal information about me. Reaction rates, my learning or emotional states. They are then processed on an external server, and possibly even passed on to third parties. Whether they will ever deleted, the person can not influence."
The game console is equipped with a camera system to capture the spatial information and can recognize the faces of users. Microsoft plans for the console a deep integration into the consumer electronics equipment of its users - all devices from the TV receiver to the amplifier should be controlled via voice and gesture control console. The group wants the apparatus further than use market research tool : The Xbox One, says Microsoft executive Phil Spencer, will ensure that "we know what people are busy We can take a vote and feed their voice in the creative process.".
The only reason they went back is because 10 years of brand building was getting smashed in the space of a few weeks and not to mention they were getting smashed in pre-order numbers.
They're definitely not doing this because they are "listening" to us.
I wouldn't be too keen to throw money at them right away. I'll likely end up with both systems, but Xbox One will be a 2ndary platform for me. Kind of like the Wii U where I use it for exclusive games only pretty much.
Sony aren't angels by any means, but I can't look at MS and Xbox the same way again after this stunt.
I'm still getting the PS4. I've always wanted a Sony console, because they release a lot of exclusive titles that I want to play. Pretty much every exclusive from Microsoft that I've cared about has ended up on PC. Also, I don't care about Kinect, or TV.
One small step? ONE SMALL STEP?! Shiii... I don't care, I'm going with the XB1 just because IMO it's the better system. It's worth the extra $100 too, I like to watch a lot of TV, Kinect can be LOADS of fun when you have friends over, and well... dat controller...![]()
Yea I wonder how much that controller will cost. 360's are already a bit high.
Agree, Sony has more Studios developing for them than MS and Nintendo combined. As things pan out they will have the greater number of exclusives. Seeing as the Xbone is also going to be an offline device as well the extra ram and GPU cores in the PS4 are going to come into play more as time goes on.Originally Posted by nannerdw
Ms is going to play catch up now with a somewhat damaged rep and a higher price. Will be interesting to see how things pan out.
Nice!
I still hope they add backwards-compabiliby, kinect optional to buy and no gold subscription.![]()
But why do exclusives even make sense anyway? Just only that people would buy these consoles to play those games.![]()
I don't think that Xbox One is more expensive than PS4, it is probably even cheaper, but its only so expensive because of the 100$ - 150$ Kinect sensor.
Then, I heard that Playstation Eye won't be included with the console bundle. If it's so, then PlayStation 4 would cost about the same price as Xbox One.
One thing about the Kinect I hope is that they make Kinect-worthy games that isn't gimmicky like Kinect Disneyland or Kinect Rush. (Disney games are badly made and never any or them got fixed)
