    Re: Well Played Microsoft.....

We imagined a new set of benefits such as easier roaming, family sharing, and new ways to try and buy games. We believe in the benefits of a connected, digital future.
"We imagined we could use a few, new, small benefits to distract you all from the large, important benefits that we wanted to take away from you this gen."
"We also imagined we could say the phrase new ways to try and buy games without people realising what we meant was, less ways to buy games and those ways will cost you all a lot more money."

Since unveiling our plans for Xbox One, my team and I have heard directly from many of you, read your comments and listened to your feedback. I would like to take the opportunity today to thank you for your assistance in helping us to reshape the future of Xbox One.
"Since unveiling our plans for Xbox One, we have realised that despite all the marketing spin we put on this greedy, industry-damaging project, you have all realised that we are an arrogant, despicable company that shows blatant disregard for its consumers and gaming in general. Thank you for telling us very clearly that you would all be going to Sony, so that we could backtrack completely."

You told us how much you loved the flexibility you have today with games delivered on disc. The ability to lend, share, and resell these games at your discretion is of incredible importance to you. Also important to you is the freedom to play offline, for any length of time, anywhere in the world.
"You told us EXACTLY what we already knew, but now we're forced to listen because we are losing big time."

These new policies sadden me. Although they are great news to some, probably the majority, of Xbox users for me it almost shows a weakness on microsofts behalf.

In my own opinion, I would of loved to see games run without discs if I do want to purchase a physical copy, now however, I cannot

These policies aren't a bad thing may I just say again, in fact, the similarities to the 360 will make sure that the console will be as successful as the 360 was. It is only mildly disappointing that new and dangerous risks were abandonded due to peer pressure.

I hope Microsoft will some day re-introduce those lost policies but for now I will enjoy the Xbox 360 mark II

Wow, that's great news! I may consider getting one now.

Does anyone know what they will do in response to the accusations that the xbox one is a potential monitoring device? That part creeps me out.. I may be a bit paranoid, but I don't like the thought of having the kinect and mic on always. Even if it's possible to disconnect the software. I know we already have phones and laptops that can do the same, but I really don't need more of that.

    "Your feedback matters"

I can bet if Sony had these same policies for the PS4 (or if there was no PS4), Microsoft wouldn't care about what we think.

Yup, Microsoft can still kiss my ***. Kinect is the other deal-breaker.
