Re: How I have met Trials...

My friend sent me a link to the first flash trials bike game(hosted on a random site), instantly became obsessed with 0faulting the 2-3(very short) tracks, then competing with my friend for best time. I then rediscovered the game on miniclip some time later, and have played every RL trials game since.

I was at a buddies house and for some reason he just happened to mention Trials HD and I started making fun of him for playing a stupid arcade game. He told me to try it out and the first time I played it I didn't stop for about 4 hours....the rest is history.

When hd first launched, a few of my real life friends had it and kept bugging me to try it. I kept putting it off saying, "I don't wanna play some stupid motorbike game!" I finally caved and bought it, and couldn't get enough. Now those guys never play it and I'm an addict! Go figure..

Re: How I have met Trials...

i bought trials HD on its release but didnt play it for a year.I only turned to it because i forgot i had bought it, and i was comparing my games to a friends.
it wasnt until i released that you could build too, that i havnt looked back.I started my youtube a few monthss later for something to do, and it dawned on me just how many people played, built and took it seriously.I knew from then that this is what i would be doing.
I always wanted a game with an editor..I was pretty set on a flight sim of some sort, cos i didnt even know that games were out with an editor....

Re: How I have met Trials...

I started playing Trials because I couldn´t see any shooter anymore and was searching the Marketplace for new stuff. I found HD 1 year after release. when i watched the replays of the pro riders I thought it is just impossible to controll the phoenix like that. I was just bouncing like a rubber. But I kept going and it felt like when I started to learn to play E-Guitar. To me it still feels like playing an instrument. All in all it´s just a hell lot of addicting fun.

Bought HD back in the day. Played for a little really enjoyed it.

Found my niche in Evo. Bought it the day it came out and watched Professional pretend he was good. Then true skilled riders smashed his **** runs.

    Good time.

Same as WILLYUMZ, used to play that flash game back in the day and saw that it was by the same people. Me and a group of people I know were all competing on Where's the Ground for ages and I was hooked. Bought the full game, smashed through the easy and beginner tracks fairly quick, got to Let's get physical and started to realise the game would get hard. By the time I reached King of the hill, I was getting like 100 faults on the track. Couldn't even complete extreme tracks to start with (apart from the first few).

I was into MW2 when I kept noticing the demo for HD on the dashboard, a friend said to try it out and when I did, I couldn't stop playing the demo for like a week until I got paid, bought the full game and haven't looked back. I started improving rapidly about 6 months later to the point where I could top 100 everything and even top 10 global+dlc at one point. I remember so many people from those days that don't really come around here anymore.

I miss the HD tracks so much. They were just classics... even Laser Tag lol.
