    Analog leaning issue.

I can't get my rider to lean smoothly with my left stick, i have a XBOX controller but it's not the Microsoft one. It's a Razer Onza Tournament Edition.
Though it should work because for all intents and purposes it's an XBOX controller with some extra features available on the controller itself. That is, it doesn't change the way it works as far as a controller goes. Windows and any game would not know the difference.

This is as far as I've gotten with this issue... At first i just tried the controller (bought it yesterday) and changed the throttle and brakes to the right/left triggers respectively.
I didn't get analog throttle by doing this, so i started googling for some fix and found out that by default the RT/LT are set to throttle and brakes even though A and X are set in the controller setup screen.
So great, i have analog throttle... But i don't have analog lean, even with the defaults set.

Even though i know this controller for all intents and purposes IS an xbox controller and shouldn't have any issues i now looked at x360ce to try and solve the issue, following the guide for getting the logitech dual action to work with this game. (Without doing the steps for the right stick to throttle remap)
Of course it had no effect at all on my leaning capabilities and the throttle/brakes still work fine.

How do i solve this issue? What else can i try?
Short of solving this i would have to stop playing the game because it becomes nearly impossible to play with the rider switching positions from left to right in .3 seconds.

    Re: Analog leaning issue.

the controller could output different values that are higher than the 360s so while you would not lean fully on yours it could output the same value as a full lean on 360 making the game indeed think you are full leaning

go into the editor, place the game info datasources (stick value)
place the tiles in front of the game camera
test the track with editor icons enabled see what values you get(should be between -3 and 3) depending on the position of the stick

Unfortunately, that's just how it is. The slightest stick movement makes the rider thrust forward/back, even on xbox.

I am uploading a video showing the things you requested but the processing of the video is slow (youtube is busy) so in the meantime i will just tell you what i observed.

The slightest movement on the stick gave me a value between -1 and 1 (left/right) and the rider changes position from full left/right in almost no time at all. (about .4 seconds as far as i can tell)
When i slowly move my stick to the left/right it skips -2 and 2 and instead reports -3 and 3 immediately. I did notice the rider being more aggressive. (.3 ish seconds)
So basically what this means is there are only two speeds the driver can lean at? Both of them being "ERGH LETS SMACK OUR FACE INTO THE GROUND!"?

The throttle reports values between 0 and 7 (inclusive) and that seems fine by me, enough granularity to keep it finely tuned.

If this is the case then i just gotta ask RedLynx... WHY! What kind of silly decision is this?

Anyways, the video processing is done.

    Does this look normal?

looks normal maybe on 360 the -2,2 region might be a bit bigger
