For me its TBNSoty, when i saw a replay of him, for the first time, i thought he is a cheater. Since then, i have watched all his videos.
Buttcheekofdeth, Inf1ictor and Jonofthejungle were some of the first people who gave me feedback, help, advice and testing when I started making tracks. There's been tons since then as well, but they helped me get started. I also watched their replays to learn how to start trying to get better at riding.
But I dont have any one person who I consider a favourite rider. There's too many that are really good and it all depends on the track as to who makes it look "prettiest/smoothest" tbh.
xxGhetto of course!
I learned all my tricks from madMike NL and MR ENGLISH BOY though.
I didn't really learn from anyone, I just watched how the top riders played and thought "Yeah I could that" so I just practiced the techniques and after a while it became second nature I guess.
My perspective of "learning" is if someone was sat with me and showed me the ropes, or if I read a manual on how to play, which I did neither of.
There's too many good riders to say who's the best and tbh anyone can be the best, if there willing to put the effort in anyway.
I made friends with a very loyal guy on these forums. He thought me to better myself everytime I saw his replays.
JrydaBut you all know him as Amplitude or Retribution.
Another guy who taught me to push myself is Clint Eastwood. He told me I could push myself more so than I thought. Just need the dedication factor.
Then I learned to better myself after that.
murderbysound hands down . that guy molded me into the man i am today.also mr dahaka .and the rest of the evo all1ance boys , .bazza has a special place in my heart ..my favorite player is Ispeedrunaked he saves me tonnes of trouble when i mess up plat times on my tracks
. and always finds or makes a timesaver i never made when i was building .
Fave Rider: Connz Yo
Thanks!Originally Posted by NovaDarkStormI forgot all bout that gamertag lol. I kinda miss it but Ret has always been my original name since 05. I do have Jryda created for Uplay if i ever get around to Gold Edition.
Too many favorites to list but off the top of my head, id say Connz/Hi Def for speedrunning, AJ for BMX tracks, A7X for diet ninjas, Clutch for heavy ninjas, Xzample for cleaniness and gettin around to quickest routes faster than most. Tms/Slinky/KO for flair and style. WILLYUMZ is prob the most underrated rider, i love that guy. I have definitely learned alot from them over the past year on Evo.
Inb4 NSP's broken heart
For me it was Gaman no Genkai. I knew TBN was better but I loved his riding style and in fact I ride very similar to him to this day.
And ConnzYo of course.
Lastly Murderbysound for editor. He's such great help.
When I first started playing HD the first player to inspire me to want to learn the game properly was AM/Redrider/DeadPh1sh/Misaccused...whatever the hell he's calling himself nowWas always setting the pace on RL Extreme tracks early, great speedrunner, made great tracks and was an all round nice guy. Said he was coming back recently but not seen any real sign of him.
