Nice interview Completely new art style sounds interesting.

Also love the new concept art of the City/Forest/Desert worlds, hope they make it final as it looks sweet. It's definately more then just cloud city from the trailer.

Can't wait to see the first actual in-game footage/demo.

I just think that for the little amount they actually showed in the trailer it was a bad idea to focus on the tricks mode since they know that we wouldn't want that in our core trials mode, which is what everybody(even me)thought. Hell they could have just put up a picture that said NEW TRIALS and we would have still lost it.

I think if you programmed it to reward a nice trick with a speed boost it would give me an incentive to watch others' replays.

It would be a great feature for those of us who like to complete a level in the fastest time.

That is the EXACT thing we are all against...

But I'm sure there's room here for more than a one opinion

But yeah like ANBA said, it just adds to the gameplay and doesn't change the core mechanics.

    No, please.

I'm just wondering if the FMX mode setup for scoring will be Points/Fault/Time, but if Points come first, you could exploit parts of tracks for unlimited Points. Unless you don't get points for an area after going forwards through it once already. Then you do Time/Points/Fault or something and who cares about the Points? Interesting to see how they make it work.

That's awesome ANBA, but I don't want another gigatrack let alone a 30 minute track.

Consistency is great, but imo only on tournaments.

The best what could work is Faults as primary, then points as secondary, and then a time limit to prevent people scoring unlimited points.

I do also think, if Redlynx would make the tricks's tracks the same as the trials tracks or different. Well, on an extreme track I would concentrate on the track instead making points to prevent faulting.

If doing tricks during a speed run on a track were to give any kind of boost it would kill the game for all speed runners and make it a casual crappy game. Look at Halo 4 for example. That game is just pure *** and the only people that play are casual gamers.
