Also by the delays and the fact it came out well after the 360. Thats what ended up pushing me across to xbox at the time, I got tired of waiting.

If you're a super track creating machine, the best option is to get it on PC, because you can make tracks fast there, and fusion custom tracks would probably be cross-platformed.

Im not desciding my next gen console just because of Fusion, things wouldn't differ too much, im going for the games that look good, and atm thats on the Xbox, there is 100% no doubt i will still play and make tracks on Fusion though, lets just hope it really has cross-platformed TC, that would be insane.

The problem with Kinect is that it drives the price of the xbox one, it takes a lot of space in the living room and barely any game will use it because most games after launch will be multiplatform. It'll end up being a really expensive way to skype. To those of you saying that Kinect being included with every xbox will change that, well the original kinect sold very well, more than ten million and still practically no developer used it to truly innovate. I made the mistake of buying Kinect 1 and only used it a handful of times because the games just never came.

Re: What platform will you be getting Fusion on?

As of September 30, 2012, 70 million Xbox 360 consoles have been sold.
24 million units of the Kinect sensor had been shipped (shipped does not mean the same as sold) as of January 2012.

Best case scenario, as of January 2012, is that 1/3rd of the target audience has Kinect. That means 60% (or more) of Xbox 360 console owners do not own a Kinect. That's a pretty big difference when it comes to programming games. Do you make the game so that more users can play it, or do you make it so that a smaller group can play it with motion controls?

With every XB1 shipping with Kinect you go from 60% to 100%. Each and every Xbox One will have Kinect.

even if only 10million of those 24 are "in function" that is still a valueable game market to develop for if the people are willing to buy the games and i don't see why devs would if they had a great idea they think could work

how many games have we seen that aren't complete ****? or even considered good? besides dance games

Probably getting it for both next gen consoles. But at the end of the day, especially when it comes to trials, its all about the controller. So Im probably going to have my "main trials account" on the xbox, but I need to try them first....

Yeah but the developers know that all the people who bought a Kinect have an expressed interest in motion control gaming. That's why these ~20 Million Kinect owners would be even more likely to buy these kind of games than the rest of the xbox owners. Still there are no games. In comparison the Wii U has sold around 4 million units and developers still develop games for it. When the xboxone is released it will take a while to sell 30 million and even those people might not all be interested in Kinect features. Even the one Kinect flagship title, Ryse is no longer Kinect only because it didn't feel right for the developer.
