An internet connection will not be required to play offline Xbox One games – After a one-time system set-up with a new Xbox One, you can play any disc based game without ever connecting online again. There is no 24 hour connection requirement and you can take your Xbox One anywhere you want and play your games, just like on Xbox 360.
Trade-in, lend, resell, gift, and rent disc based games just like you do today – There will be no limitations to using and sharing games, it will work just as it does today on Xbox 360.

other battles will take place (Sony is struggling financially), wait before saying I take it
the battle has just begun
I thought (hoped) microsoft would eventually change their ways, they must of looked through loads of comments pages and forums of how soo many people were all going for ps4, which i also was, but now with them changing their tune (finally), i might go with the xbox1, although i'll still wait on any news regarding both consoles to still make my choice. Probably wait for a while till the prices go down on them and a decent amount of games to come out rather than when the consoles first release. So probably Trials Fusion on xbox360 at first and then see how it goes.
Also that project spark looks an interesting game.
I don't think Microsoft will go back to DRM. Once they do, they will see sales slow down a bit. Everything will be digital within 2 years, maybe...so everything will have no sharing/resale capabilities.Originally Posted by shenblack
I'm leaning towards Xbox One now, but was ready to jump ship. I encourage the top guys to play on the PS4, so I can crack the top 100 this time.
