    Point light to follow rider

    Hi
Could someone please explain to me, step by step, in terms an idiot could understand, how I can get a point light to follow the bike/rider for the duration of a track.
I should say that last year it took me 3 hours to get an object to spin with a physics joint, and I've forgotten how to do that, so I'm not the best when it comes to physics and triggers, etc.
I know it's something to do with the OPE but I've never used those so I don't know what I'm doing and my feeble mind can't work it out, even with the tutorial videos.

    Thanks.

The tutorials link in my sig has a flowchart to show how to make rain follow the rider. Just swap the rain for a point light.

    Hi Barry,
Funny you should mention rain. I had about 50 rain effects stretched out along the driving line, I hadn't thought of having just one rain effect follow the rider too.
Well, after an hour of head-scratching, foot-stamping and frustrated shouting, I got there in the end.
Thanks for the help, I've now bookmarked those tutorials.

No worries mate. There's some good stuff in there. F.Y.I if you have a track where you go indoors, just use an area trigger to an event to deactivate anything following the rider and then you can reactivate it the same way if you return outside. So for rain an effect event, for light a light event and so on.

Cheers for the pro tips, guys.
I've now sussed how to make things rotate with the OPE as well. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it.
I somehow managed to spend 11 hours in the editor today. Hopefully my new track will be ready to roll in a day or two.
