I have smog muck (groundlevel) in the background of a track I am working on but every time you reset to cp the smog vanishes and takes a few seconds to seep back out.
Is there any way around this? Or is that just the nature of the effect?
I don't know if there is a way... Maybe go in advanced phisics or something and uncheck reset in checkpoint restart, if there isn't this, well i don't see any other solution.
From what I have noticed it's the nature of the effects. It's like when in the editor turning physics on and off. The effect is still on but the smoke only comes when physics is turned on, the same thing happens when you reset I think. (This is probably for performance issues, so the game doesn't have to keep track of every particle when you reset)
And you can try what HpvenomZ said but I don't think it will work
edit: what you can try is putting a cloud there and turning the particles down a bit, so it looks there is still a small smoke cloud hanging there when you restart the cp.
I like the way you think. I will give that a shot.Originally Posted by basslineux001
