At this stage, I'm actually more interested in hearing more about the PS4 than I am the Xbone.

I would have said the same, but I've been "testing" a PS3 for the last week and its actually pretty damn good. So now I'm about 95% PS4 and wont be heading down the xbone route unless there's something truly jaw dropping that happens at E3.

yea mite be joining you . the thing that made me not get a ps3 was no party chat and holymotherofgod crappy 10 year old designed controller . try playing a shooter with it . you have to use the shoulder buttons to shoot and cant remap the config .its amazingly bad .

Played through Uncharted 2 and a bit of GRFS, once you get used to it, its fine. Actually, its quicker as there is less travel than the analogie 360 triggers. Just feel odd at first. Party chat will be available for PS4 apparently though.

    Re: E3 press conference schedule

I honestly think the whole PS controller thing is overblown. For the majority of people it's just a matter of getting used to another controller. Both controllers have pros and cons.

If I had to choose between a foreign controller or having the ability to play games regardless of the state of my internet connection, the answer is a simple one.

Party chat will be a given on PS4 seeing as it's on the vita. Only reason it's not on PS3 is that they couldn't set aside the system ram to shoe horn it in down the track.

My prediction is that as far as software goes both systems will be a much of a muchness. Both will have pros and cons, but I assure you if both systems require regular online check ins to play games, then I wont bother. I like gaming, but not enough to pay full price to rent something I once could techically own.

Many questions need to be answered about these next gen consoles. Sadly I suspect the reason no straight answers have been given regarding used games, drm etc is because there aren't any.

Hasn't the PS4 been confirmed to not require an internet connection?
They "didn't even consider it" apparently.
