The New Trials feed holds the newest 52 tracks to be uploaded to Track Central, the number of downloads or ratings has no effect on position within the feed. How long a track stays there depends on how many people are uploading tracks. A lot of uploads = less time on New Trials feed.Originally Posted by GreenCandy

yea this... Ive seen tracks drop off the new trials feed within 15 mins many times because of the influx that will follow,Originally Posted by CannibalShogun
New Supercross feed doesn't really have this problem and a track could be there 2,3 sometimes 4 days resulting in at least a couple of thousand dl's,New Skills even more so...
But like it was said above,Make a thread here or any other way to create awareness of your work and not solely rely on the feed itself should make a big difference...
edit: now that I am aware I'll go try some of your tracks![]()
See,the system works...
First of all Still Breathin is right about the supercross thread, it's a horror show.
Secondly I feel all your pain with track creating. I'll restate something I put in another thread. It amazes me how tracks that clearly have a lot of effort put into them, and in turn have a rock solid theme, and a well made line, are put into the same category as "The Impossible Stairs", or more recently "Can You" and "Stairway to Heaven", which have zero thought put into them and are things that when I see, I complete simply to rate 1* in an attempt to lower it on the feed. There is a part of me that believes that the tracks decent track creaters make in that 2 hour building event are far better than 95% of TC now-a-days. That should really say something.
Finally.... Seriously, a Soda Can? Those are still being made? Just ugh...![]()
Last time i wrote "My track has come n gone, so this is """nothing to do with my track"""" ne more ...." unfortunately there`s no emoticon for "banging my head on table"![]()
Again .... this post is not about the track i uploaded anymore ..... nowt to do with that at allit done bad - poor me
but the current question is not about my track anymore!!

Please notice this as people keep on referring to it and id just like to know if there is a prob with TC or if its a prob @ my end?
Im finding the same thing in the HR48 feed too e.g >
Kid M p c > 120 mc boxes - only 125 d/l`s
B2c3 > 120MC - Concreation - only 263 d/l`s - released 2 days ago
ghettob1asterX > 240M Dead lake - only 86 d/l`s - released 1 day ago
let me put it a different way >
Is the reason the amount of d/l`s for """"anyone`s""""" track is low because the user base for Evo has increased and there are a hell of a lot of new tracks being released all the time?
or
Is the reason the amount of d/l`s for """"anyone`s""""" track is low because because the user base is extremely low now?
or
Is there a problem with TC?
Or
Could it be something wrong @ my end (MP works fine tho)
Hopefully ive made myself clearer this time![]()
There's not as many download s Because everyone left. Only hardcore left. Less people playing equal less downloads.
Thank You ^^ ..... bit of a shame that thoOriginally Posted by Jarr3tt88![]()
I agree evo died way too quickly but there are a lot of issues and things redlynx never addressed or fixed. Hopefully a new game will make everyone come back. See when E3 comes
I don't think it really died that quickly at all. It took almost a year for the players to really filter off which isn't bad at all for an arcade game. How many other games do you guys regularly play that are a year old?
It happens with every game, it's just a natural process that can't be helped. I've found the best thing to do is to add some friends to your list from this forum and message them when your track comes out. That way even if your track drops off the new trials feed after a few minutes, if you can get maybe 10 or so mates to play and rate it within a couple of days it can make a comeback on the 48hr feed.
That's the advantage of there being less players, your friends really make a huge difference now whereas in the early days it was the community as a whole. Now, we ARE the community as a whole, and that's a rather comforting thought![]()
m8 i only made and released that track today . and im shocked its got 120 odd ld already tc is dead m8 . r.i.p was about march when the pc version came out . but strangely im not sure thats to blame .there was an issue with people signing into the game at that time .and tracks were getting strange votes to download ratios . m8 my last track india boat breakers got 700 od dl . and it took my over 2 months and god only knows how much time . thats it now the days of high downloads/players is gone .theres more crap in track central now than when people were getting to grips in the editor at the start . can only assume its the ratio of casual messer/players to the hardcore . .so in answer to your question its not you its the game .
i get your point but the drop happened so quick thats why people thought there was something wrong . all my friends list commented about what was going on in march ish and they all said the same thing ." oh it must be a glitch" or " its just the pc launch " a steady decay would have been the norm but this was a avalanche .Originally Posted by JaminBen007
