uplay 3.0 Update and Trials Evo Gold Problem | Forums

little bit angry , since few minutes ubisoft has updated uplay to version 3.0 (automatically) and now i have a big problem , Trials Evo Gold don´t start or lauch anymore , you can see the TrialsFMX.exe in the taskmanager but it does not start ! it has worked from the first day until today after this update to the new uplay version !

win 8 64 bit

anybody have the same problem ?

Ubisoft wtf ? are users now again Beta Testers ?

I can't replicate this issue with Uplay v3 and Trials Evolution Gold Edition. What happens if you run the title as admin from the file location and not from Uplay?

shifty , unfortunately does not work , tried everything , run as admin , run in compatible mode , reinstalled the game ! all the same , trials evo gold are to see in taskmangaer but the game does not start , it has worked before since day 1 , but after uplay v3 it does not work anymore !

any other idea ?

found an old uplay installer version 2.1.9 ! deinstalled uplay 3 ! disconnected from internet ! installed uplay v2.1.9 ! Trials runs ! but as soon as i connect to the internet uplay updates again to v3 and trials wont start again anymore !

it seems now its not my pc its the new uplay v3 which prevents Trials from start ! there is something in uplay v3 which don´t runs correct !

now i ask again why such things gets not tested very well before it gets out ? why are there no possibility to downgrade to an older version ? i read and heard also that uplay v3 don´t runs correct for other users too !

such things begins to pisses me really off

found the problem now , asked ubisoft support but it seems that they do not care , didn´t have the mood or something else , response takes to long !

had installed uplay on a different folder , program files/uplay , instead of the default install folder program files/ubisoft/Ubisoft Game Launcher !

with update v3 the games does not start anymore if you have uplay installed on your own install folder instead of default , has worked with uplay v2 before !

now its working , don´t know why Ubisoft have changed this !

maybe it helps other user if they have the same problem as me before !
