i linked jonnehu and antiki to this so as soon as they see this they can probably fix

Fixed for now. TrialsBot doesn't really understand how Mibbit works. Sorry about that.
Here's what happened:

At the moment I don't know what's causing this, but a sure way around it is to use an IRC client that is not Mibbit.
The problem is that Mibbit routes the traffic through their own servers, so that multiple people seem to be coming from the same IP.
