    Contact Glitch. Need Help

Hello everyone. I've got a new track in development, but it's getting a little frustrating testing because of the stupid high amount of contact glitches that are happening. The surface is a straight line, with some small (10-30 degree angles) and made out of ruin blocks. I've tried using the grid thing to place them more accurately but the problem hasn't stopped. Since this is an easy difficulty Speed-run course the DL needs to lack contact glitches.
Any ideas? Do I need to replace the surface? Is it the way I've built it? I'm open to anything at this point.
Contact Glitch=tire catches on something when driving on flat and curved surfaces. Very common on curves.

This happens with a lot of the editor objects. Ive had issues with the ruin pieces as well. It's to do with collision detection I think...
Basically, you'll need to carefully add custom collisions over all guilty objects that the bike makes contact with.
    Hope this helps.

or you can add pretty much anything ( wood. planks ect )and turn the visibility off . easier than messing with custom collisions on most things

If you do this, you also need to set the object to contact response, otherwise its just an invisible object! lol

Using custom collisions will ensure a consistent contact though. The only time you really need to use anything else is for a curved surface, in which case it may be easier to use a ramp set to contact response and made invisible. But if you're using the ruin pieces, then the custom collision variation 7 will probably fit all your needs.

IF you want to be extra careful that it all works and you dont "float" above the ruin pieces then set the ruin pieces to decoration only and lay the custom collision over them. This will actually help your tracks performance as well if you're having any trouble in that department as you can essentially make the entire track and scenery/background deco only except the custom collisions.

Thank you BarryBarfly and kidmpc for your help. I went with a custom collisions and the deco only approach. So far I haven't seen any issues. Hopefully it carries through to the end.
