Just to get your thought. Right now the games i'm looking for is GTA 5 and watch dogs, so i'm not really into cod anymore, but anyways just want to rant on something that has been really grinding my gear lately.. And it's the fanboys of BF ruining every possible FPS video preaching how that game isn't as good as BF. So for the people saying that this is nothing like a cult lets compare.
Cult:
- Blindly follows something
- hates everyone with a different opinion
- Can't see two sides of the story
- If you attack their belief/ leader they will attack you
BF fanboys:
Basically the same just replace belief/ leader with BF3/BF4
So what's your opinion of this? Mine is this. Before playing cod used to be cool / popular on youtube, then the BF3 "Revolution" came and everyone jumped on the BF3 bandwagon. Since cod is still more popular they feel like they are fighting a revolution and feel a sense of belonging. That is why IMO it is so appealing to become a BF3 fanboy. In reality liking BF is far more popular on youtube today, and many BF3 fanboys are former COD fanboys. They are basically the ones that likes whatever is "cool" to like (The gaming equivalent of the swaggots)...
Anyways just felt like ranting a bit to get this of my chest. I think BF is a good series and that COD has gone downhill (Quite honestly i'm not interested in either right now). Still this has just gone way to far, and it's the most annoying thing ever.... So what's your guys' opinion on this? Sorry if I offended someone, I just needed to do this so that my head wouldn't explode, lol.

My opinion on it is that both games are different and shouldn't really be compared in the first place.
The only thing they have in common to me is that they're both First Person Shooters.
Same goes for the people who say that COD is better than any FPS.
It gets annoying when people (personally) start attacking people for having a different opinion than them.
Now that is just sad, it's always easy to act tough on the internet...
I don't really care either way, I prefer COD but if somebody else likes BF more I have no problem with that.

It's all personal opinion... That and the fact that bf is better..
WAIT.. Before the hate. Lol. They are completely different game experiences, I prefer bf gameplay over the run n gun n die routine of cod. That's all.
You can't argue over it coz its all based on individual opinions and taste.

If you don't believe me all you have to do is comment "COD is best, BF4 sucks" on a BF video. I don't know if you guys misunderstood, but I don't hate the BF fanboys for the fact that they like BF, I hate them for the fact that they can't respect other people opinions, and that they attack you for disagreeing with them. It's really a pet peeve of mine in general, might be just me. It's not just for games, for example, rappers. Some people just worship rappers, and other things, and that's just as annoying as this. I was just mentioning this because it has gotten out of control. You can't even yell "BF sucks" in a crowded area anymore without being attacked.
When I was first told that I was going to have to sacrifice a CoD player to join this sacred BF "family" ( That's what they call it ), I thought to myself... Can I pick someone.

And i dont even think bf3 is decent, its just crapy to me.
i agree cod went downhill, thats just what happens when a franchise dies and becomes nothing but a cashcow.
MW1, Blops 1 and WAW were all great games imo, new and innnovative and fun single player campains.
i laugh at BF fanboys, because they always seem to care to much about realism in video games...
its a fkn GAME dude, if you want realism go join the military.
Games that get too realistic get too boring, a great example of that is Fifa 13. (Fifa 10/11 were the best imo)

Personally I find that it's the CoD fanboys that are the worst group of FPS players out there. Look up any video in YouTube related to shooting basically and you'll see it.
And I really don't understand comparing BF and CoD, they're not offering the same experience in any case so what's the point?
