I found a new physics defying ninja trick in Trials Evolution:
Backwards wheelie + no brake + no gas = accelerating backwards wheelie.
EDIT...and before someone asks, yes it was done on flat ground![]()
How does this work, is it downhill or are you being pulled backwards by something else?
Edit, I saw the description of the video so now I understand.
flat ground, it is the act of pressing left that seems to generate speed.Originally Posted by LukeMSki
I've never seen it done to that extent, but I kind of assumed everyone had figured out the fact that you go backwards faster without braking after having to back up a thousand times.
I think most people know that when you are going backwards down a hill, but not on flat ground.Originally Posted by PenguinFTW
I did not know, maybe it's old news but the people I have talked to about this didn't know and they are pretty good ninja riders.Originally Posted by LukeMSki
Idk about "old news" but I refuse to believe I'm the only person who noticed that you go faster without braking, after backing up enough times you try different things.
I didn't know that you continue to increase your speed as long as you showed, it'd be interesting to see how far this can be taken
I've known about this for months but I think this is news to people who don't mess around in the editor randomly like myself.
Wouldn't consider this a new ninja move, or the bunny hop backwards on the front tire that a7x "discovered". Sorry but the only thing ninja imo in this game is a fender hook + some brake tapping.
You know, **** that's not real. Well real in the means that if someone tried to do it they'd probably break their spine + some.
I think this is sort of one of those things you kind of notice but don't really pay attention to if you know what I mean. That's quite interesting though.. think I might try to make an obstacle that requires this technique at some point, unless you were already doing that?
