Please can you pay as much attention to the drive line as you do putting the rest of the detail in.
Just lately I've been on tracks where there is sudden changes for no reason or the jumps etc are not in the right place..
All I ask is check the line to make sure all is ok.. Surely you must notice this problem when you have to complete the track before uploading???..
Cheers
Zany...
Drive line? That's where the logs pipes steps boxs and cars go just as the camera gets it in view and the bike reaches top speed right? (JK) Sure wish your post would help bring some nicer tracks. Butts nuts and coconuts, people suck.
are you talking about your own track or others .Originally Posted by ZanyWabbit

All good fun..![]()
as long as my racing line matches up with the lumps and jumps...
Played your track Wabbit, I can see you spent some time on it, so am providing the following for you to consider for your next creation(s):
- Rocks without custom collisions make for rough an inconsistent drive lines. Applies to any object with shoddy default collision boxes and physics settings.
- Gimmicky obstacles (such as that reverse endo bit) break the flow of the drive line. It worked, but was out of place.
- Placing surprise rocks/stones/walls (or any obstacles for that matter) at the end of a high speed downhill section, leading to an unexpected/abrupt stop is a big nono.
- floating objects such as grass and rocks (though not hugely problematic on your track) spoil immersion
- There was Z-Fighting on the W on your ZW sign. The flashing where two object overlap is where z-fighting can occurr.
Hope the above is helpful to you. It's meant to be purely constructive and I'm offering this as I can see you spent a bit of effort on your track.
Thanks for info.. will take all advice in.. love the track editor so its all pleasure to me..![]()
