With the PS4 having been announced and the next Xbox being announced in less than 2 weeks, I think it's time for reflection. What have been your top 5 favorite games of this generation (Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3)? For me, it's (in no particular order):

1. Gears of War 3
2. Rock Band 3
3. Condemned: Criminal Origins
4. Dead Space 2
5. Trials Evolution (of course)

Honorable mentions:

- Call of Duty 2
- Halo: Reach
- Metroid Prime 3: Echoes
- Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved

Tracks Central has made what was already an amazing game in Trials HD into one of the greatest games ever made in Trials Evo (imo of course!)

I certainly did but overall I liked the first one more. Seemed like it had a better framerate and was more realistic. Part 2 strayed too far into the paranormal and psychological issues for my liking but still was a good game.

I preferred the sequel tbh, combat and gameplay was much better and I didn't jump out of my chair every 5 minutes. But I get what you're saying about straying too far into the paranormal, it's normally not to my taste either. But I love both these games and kinda feel they're hidden gems and have flown under the radar a bit.

I feel so stupid for not including Rock Band on my list. It was definitely a masterpiece and will be enjoyed for years to come. I'll add it straight away.

nearly this whole generation of games revolved around Trials for me, I would buy games and simly not play them because of trials... I havnt even played skyrim yet, been sittin on my shelf for months.
