[Bug report] Crashes (taking down PC too) within 5-30 min | Forums

Hi folks, I've had a look through all the posts and I haven't been able to find anything on this one.

I'm running a Dell Inspiron 1750 with W7x64, Intel Core 2 Duo P7450, 4 Gb RAM, AMD mobility radeon HD 4300 w/ 2 Gb ish, and 120 GB SSD. Every time I play I get anywhere from 1 to about 30 min of play before the game crashes, taking down my laptop with it (or the other way round?). This sometimes occurs even in the menus before I've even had a chance to start a track up.

I'm running up to date drivers (updated using Steam) and no other applications I run have ever caused this. I'm running the game with minimum settings with essentially nothing else in the background and I can't figure out what's up. I agree it sounds like a hardware issue, but something about TEGD is triggering it at the very least. I sometimes get framerate slowdown, but for the most part while the game is working it works pretty well, and there are no other obvious issues (like weird textures or anything).

Thoughts?

I should mention there's no crashdump where it should be.
