I spent last few weeks most of my time in the editor, but took some time today to check out track central. Seriously, what is happening? The first thing I want to see in a new patch from RedLynx is an option to block maps from certain users!

I took my time to check most of the tracks in TC and it is sad to say the least (the fact I take the time to make this post says enough). Most 4* tracks don't even deserve to be shared. From random placed obstacles, to floating objects, misleading titles, medium tracks I started with scorpion and had to quit to take the evo because it was clearly not medium. Even one (so called) ninja track (3*) that had 2 obstacles (barrel and bench) [trolling much?]. I hate to say it but from the last 20 tracks I have played, I had to rate 11 ones with 1*.

I see now I was too generous in the beginning when rating tracks, I tought: not good, but I'll give it a 3* for effort maybe the next track will be better. But it seems like now, most crap tracks have replaced descent ones ( I almost can't find them). Therefore I see no other choice but to adapt my method of rating. If I see there is some effort put into the track I will be gentle (and maybe even rate 5* to get you into the feeds), but if not, no more mercy.

That said, does your rating dissapears when you delete a track? I don't want all those crap tracks in my list, but since I spend my time playing crap, I certainly don't want to loose that rating.


I think I speak for everybody who puts effort and time in their track. This is sad! Redlynx should maybe even do something about it (altough I have no idea what). Make it happen RedLynx!

I know how you feel, everytime i see a 4 star track i think i'm gonna have blast. Turns out it's a ****ty *** track which only took me 12 seconds. I have no clue how the hell **** like that even gets released and also how tracks like those keep getting high rankings while the better track mosly get ****ty ratings..
Guess i just have to keep playing these ****ty tracks and keep rating them one star.
