Me and my friend bought Trials Evolution: Gold Edition and the copy came with an activation code to input in the options menu (presumably to obtain the golden items).

The issue in matter is that we cannot apply the code, as the following error message gets in the way:

Invalid product code!

This item code has already been used.
Please double check to see if you have mistyped your key.
We didn't write the keys incorrectly and we didn't give them to anyone else. Also, when we check our Scorpion 450cc inventory, we cannot find our promised golden skins.
