Can't invite friend and can't see their invites either.

So I basically do get my friend's invites, but they appear in my Uplay and it says that I need to launch the game to join their party. This is pretty weird because I have the game already open, so why can't there be a steam-like invite system where you can join other's game anytime on fly? Also whenever I try the "invite party members" or "invite party to game" buttons, my friend doesn't get the invite. Only way I can play with him is to find a game at the same time (luckily there aren't that many players playing it online).

Seriously, it's 2013 and we still can't use the program of choice? I'd say that 99% of the players of this game would get rid of uplay completely if it was possible.

Same problem, can't play in a private game with my friend. I bought the game recently and its disappointing Anything possible?
Also, would love to find old custom maps created by the players, is there some way to download them?

    Hello all,

Please accept my apologies for the late reply.

TheIrishMonkey - If you are still having issues with inviting friends, please complete these troubleshooting steps, and have your friend do the same. Regarding old custom maps, if you're unable to select to download them under Track Central, it may be that this feature has been discontinued. I'm looking into this at the moment for you, and I'll update this thread with an update when I hear back from the Trials team.

Hey TheIrishMonkey! We tested Track Central, and were able to both locate and download player-created maps.

If you click on "Get Tracks", you should be met with a screen with a variety of options. There's a search bar in the upper-right where you can search for tracks, and the "most downloaded this week" list contains (in a fairly self-explanatory fashion) the tracks that players have most downloaded in the current week, for instance.

If you find any issues with any of the presented options, do let us know. I'm not sure there is a dedicated list of all available tracks, but the function itself appears unimpeded.
