I would have waited tbh. Gamescom at the end of August is likely to showcase some of the PS4 exclusives (twice as many in year one as the xbone apprently) and I think we'll know more about both consoles/companies plans after that. I wount be pre-ordering anything until September, even though I'm 99% certain it will be a PS4.Originally Posted by KaliniuS
Well, I still have time to change my mind and cancel my pre-order. Plus, the PS4 will never get KI and you cannot comprehend how much I want to play this game lolOriginally Posted by Barrybarfly
LOL Yeah, its probably going to come down to exclusives for some people (like yourself). I just cant get my head around MS TELLING me I have to have a connected Kinect all the time. I buy something, I choose wether to use it. Really bugs me. Plus I like the look of the PS exclusives more so far, so I'm leaning strongly towards Sony right now. Especially after playing Uncharted 2&3, Killzone 3 and the Last of Us!Originally Posted by KaliniuS
I agree with you 100% about Kinect and I plan on disconnecting it when I'm not using the Xbox One and I plan on maybe covering up the sensor so it's not as creepy. I'll figure something out to "stick it to the man" hahaOriginally Posted by Barrybarfly
My 5 year old loved the original Kinect so it at least will get some use.
Im going to do the same thing and i will also pull out the power plug from the xbox one everytime im not playing.Originally Posted by KaliniuS
IF im even going to get one that is... im definately not getting one at launch, theres just no good reason to get one right away. There arent any great or special launch games for it from what i can tell and i will have plenty of stuff to play on 360 still like GTA 5 (TRIALS EVO!) and all the other games like Saints row 3 and skyrim i havent even played yet and are collecting dust at the moment..
Microsoft should FEEL ashamed for forcing gaming fans to buy kinect but they are a psychopathic evil corporation so they wont be able to FEEL anything..
To Paraphrase my man Max Romeo:
Microsoft is an evilous man,
But him can't chocks it on I-man
So when I check him my lassing hand
And if him slip, I gaan with him hand !!!
Holy Crap, he hit that thing 20 times WITH A HAMMER before the first piece of plastic came off. That, my friends, is a testament to build quality. Let's forget about the 7 times he swung it around by the cord and whipped it into the desk.Originally Posted by jook13
Kudos, MS. You really have learned from RRoD.

Maybe the xbone wont benefit though. Think about it. Make a console expecting people to use it for watching tv. No inherent strength required. Add a Kinect camera that must be connected, must be turned on and that NOONE wanted to be compulsory. Make it REALLY strong to withstand all the smashing people will attempt. Different scenarios, you see?Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai![]()
I have both systems preordered now. At the end of the day I don't think one is significantly worse or better than the other, but people need to decide which platform is best for them.
This gen 360 was my primary console for online and third party releases. Next gen I think ps4 will be my primary 3rd party console and "for me" it has alot more exclusives that i find appealing. That being said there are a number of exclusives I am interested in on the one and it will likely still be my "online" console, but we'll see...i'll be playing it by ear. So far ps4 looks to have the games for me...30 exclusives in development![]()
