Although I'm an Xbox-fanboy I will switch to the other side (Playstation) if this always-online thing is true, or I'm just generally dissapointed in the console itself.

lets hope Rl have an announcement planned for May 21st to tell us how we can play trials on the next xbox!

Let's hope that announcement extends to the PC and PS4 as well so everyone can enjoy it

Yeah me too...im tired of microsoft I want to go Sony next round...hope to be able to play trials still too though.

I just cant see how these rumours could be true. A console requiring an internet connection just to function even for offline stuff... a console that has a 3D camera that cannot be turned off or just not included... a console that doesn't let us play our old games even if they're downloaded or on cloud storage?

If any of those turn out to be true it would be such bad business on Microsoft's part, I just cant believe they would be that stupid.
I wouldn't be surprised if MS started those rumours themselves, or purposefully allowed them to circulate... just so they could come out on May 21 and make a big deal out of letting everyone know they're not true - turning what should have just been automatically assumed by everyone, into big positive points that will help sell their console.

I've said all along that I wont be prejudging anything. Until everything is 100% confirmed or denied, I DONT BELIVE IT! lol

That said, always online, always-on camera and no backwards compatibility would be off-putting.

Although the backwards compatibility may actually be true due to the nature of something or other and the way it does something via a morethrob that accentuates this or that. I forget, but its due to something programming and the two (old and new) not understanding each other. Or some such technical stuff. :S
