Frame Lag on a GOOD computer ? when is it going to be fixed?

i have a really good gaming rig, i7 @ 3.9 gig , 16 gigs of quad channel ram, a 680 gtx running the game of a SSD and i have frame lag? go figure !! games like farcry 3, Battlefield 3, Crysis 3 all run perfect at highest possible settings yet this game runs like a pig at times. What's the go ? ive read the "support threads and im not reducing graphic options, that is just a way of saying WE don't know what is causing it" i also read the 1.0.3 patch notes and it didn't fix a thing. So what is the go ?

If you're having the issue where the game starts to stutter from time to time, but otherwise runs smoothly, turning off V-sync will most likely fix it. Did for me, at least. Of course, that's not a very optimal solution, as you'll get tearing instead. But at least it makes the game playable.

As for what the cause is, I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the game engine being made to run at 60 fps, and 60 fps only. Any other framerate it simply cannot deal with. That shouldn't really be a problem, since most modern PCs should be able to run it at 60 fps just fine, but something happens when you enable V-sync that makes the engine freak out and start stuttering every now and then. If you try monitoring your framerate (using something like MSI Afterburner) you'll probably find that even when the game is stuttering badly your actual framerate stays at 60 fps. So the issue isn't with graphics performance, but with how the game engine handles updates.

I made a thread about this here.
