Hard question to explain but I'll try...
So if I place a Terrain Mod and set it to, for example, a Hill type, I can no longer modify the texture of this terrain mod. Even if I disable the Decal of the Hill and place another Terrain Mod at the same spot, trying to override the texture with let's say a grass texture, the grass doesn't show up.
Is this intended behaviour or a bug? It would make sense to be able to override a height mod's texture with another one, if you have the first Decal disabled.
Also, it seems some of the two-color objects are buggy, at least on PC. One reproducible example is the tire stack object that defaults to white and red tires. No matter what I set the red color box to, the tires stay red.
the second texture must be above(hight) the first one to show up.
Oh, sweet, thanks! Will try it out when I get back home!
Ha, it's even in the tutorials! I thought I had the terrain tool all figured out and skipped through the video!
Well, I guess I can finally add a driving line decal over those hilly bits then!
yeah this seems to be bugged. you would just have to stack individual tiresOriginally Posted by Curunir
your problems with the hills are fine on my end.
Oh, one more thing! How do you select your level's thumbnail when you publish?
