Exactly! I doubt it would happen but it wouldn't exactly be hard to do.. And I think you would get a lot more decent games created out of it. More on screen menu's will be on the games so that the players don't get stuck. That's a problem I have came across on a lot of games because the instructions are either in the description or appear on the screen at the start.. Which is not long enough for people to read and remember![]()
The annoying thing about skill game instructions, apart from not lasting long enough, is that if you restart the game they don't appear again.
To get the instructions back you have to totally reload the game. Who's stupid idea was that!?
But sometimes on a simple skill game like a hill climb where the message only needs to be there for a few seconds it's really annoying. There should be a timer for the skill game instructions, this way simple one can be set to 3 seconds or something and complicated ones to 20 seconds or whatever.Originally Posted by JaminBen007
yup.. should be able to hook delays to the menu just like primary scores ect, or just a simple box underneath the the instructions in the menu where you can put how long you want it there for.
I vote no on the basis that it would result in complete crap. If people have to go to the effort to make letters then they do it when they have to and use them sensibly. If they were easily available they would be totally abused, even within the MS filters.
nothing prevents you from avoiding that crap or 1*Originally Posted by Barrybarfly

Yep, with greatness comes a ton of garbage.Originally Posted by sparkierjonesz

Yep. Now imagine those tracks with a bunch of stupid writing in them as well. Maybe if its something that is only available in skill games it would be viable, but I'm voting no fo rnow.Originally Posted by Jarr3tt88
