    Re: Trials gold edition issue

    ok heres the easy version...

graphics drivers = clicking your graphics icon in the lower right of the taskbar on your desktop normally tells you which card you have, if its onboard which I`m assuming it probably is try looking for a sticker some where on the laptop saying nvidia xxx or radeon hdxxxx ,, with nvidia ppl are having better luck with older drivers, might wanna check around forums for which ones, if its ati/amd radeon then go to there website and just use the auto detect and install function..

to make sure the redist is up to date, navigate to the tools/directx folder..
the path to mine looks like this: I:\Steam SSD\SteamApps\common\TrialsPC\Tools\DirectX and double click and run/install "DXSETUP"

from there go to "trialsfmx.exe" its located in the datapack folder
again my path looks like this: I:\Steam SSD\SteamApps\common\TrialsPC\datapack

right click trialsfmx.exe and select properties. Using the compatibility tab check "run this program in compatibility mode for" and choose windows vista.
on the same tab at the bottom check run this program as administrator.

If you launch the game from a shortcut on the desktop, when starting it simply right click and choose "run as admin"

hope that helps, let me know if it works.

Done the DXSETUP. Already had the trialsfmx.exe set up as vista and running as admin. And i run as admin. Still no luck, comes up on uplay as 'game running' and on the task manager it is running as well this is annoying me, I'm going to wait for the performance patch and hope for the best I think :/

I know man, it's strange how it doesn't even start, I mean, if my processor wasn't quick enough then it would still start, just run very very slowly, but it just doesn't start so I don't know either, I've even gone on the samsung website and downloaded all new drivers, nothing has done anything at the moment, it just means I have even more stuff on my laptop :/ I even had to buy an external disc drive to play it, and I can't, oh well, as long as it gets sorted, then I'm fine, I'm in no rush at the moment, but I do REALLY want to play it

If you are using a Samsung N145 plus Netbook with an atom processor then I would actually be surprised if the game ran.

From what I see, that netbook doesn't meet any of the system requirements, except for the OS.

Well this may explain the issue, will this performance patch help this problem? Along with me playing it on the lowest graphics settings? Or are you saying that I won't be able to play the game at all unless I buy/use a different laptop/computer?
