don't you hate it when you have one of those days
so i just made an awesome track, and i played through it a few times but i decided to share it the next day as it was like 5 am and i was tired. so the first thing i did when i got up was to go share my track i just built. after an hour of not even getting past the first checkpoint i was so frustrated i was a split second away from uninstalling the game. i hate those days where you have to relearn thumb muscle memory. honestly trials feels like skateboarding to me in a way.
if you guys used to be or are skateboarders you would understand, for those of you who don't, its like nailing a trick, lets say a kickflip for the first time. and after you land it you try to hone the technique till eventually you master it. the next day, you decide to kickflip again, and you fail time and time again. it feels like you have to relearn everything for the first hour or two.
that's what i hate about trials, at times, its like the **** behind the scenes skateboarding.
anyone else feel the same way?
of course i only play extremes....

Re: don't you hate it when you have one of those days
I know the feeling, but because it can be so challenging it keeps my interest (unlike many other games). And this is just not because of trials, everything where you want to get good at (and is not too easy) requires falling and getting back up again. Trials can just be, in a way, much harder then most games so you just notice it more and this is how a game should be in my opinion, almost impossible at the hardest level.
You can't excpect to do everything flawlessly from the beginning.
If you want, check out my track (flipside) I think you will like it if you play alot of extremes. It's not impossible. And let me know when you share your track

Re: don't you hate it when you have one of those days
yeah i am getting near crunchtime on my finals in college and i have just been trying to beat the extreme. i spent another hour and a half on the first obstacle, gave up and made it easier. now there are two routes to get to the checkpoint, it may have screwed me with difficulty, but i think it added more variety to a track, i think i may finally use the "multiple routes" tag!
and bassline, thanks ill check it out, but check out mines, i had made either 4 or 5 tracks already, remix and pure concrete became 5 stars reached highest rated in week with 5 stars
, although on my track thread i got chewed out in criticism that they were too plain
. but in my opinion, try these first, The wall (easy extreme), Marmoth(borderline extreme/ninja), Remix (hard ninja), Pure Concrete (possibly hard ninja), then pop culture (hard ninja). all made by me --> Azraf123

Ok I'll check your tracks out and your track thread, I have done already some one of them (the easy ones lol, I tried Pure Concrete a while ago but I'm not good enough at the moment for ninja tracks). My second track is almost finished so keep an eye out. If you want you can always add me on uplay.

Re: don't you hate it when you have one of those days
I can totally relate to what you are saying.
Whenever I would take a break, even if it was just a few days, it would feel as if I had never played the game before.
I can now stay away for a week and I can do that and come back not feeling like a beginner.
Took me almost a year to get to that point though.
