Why did you release this game without testing it?

Yeah, I know there was a "beta", but come on, let's admit it was more like a demo for early buyers. If it was an actual beta, the game wouldn't have been released in this state, with such serious issues. Game-breaking stuttering even with very powerful hardware, scores not syncing properly, broken leaderboards, broken replays, matchmaking crashing the game half of the time, etc. It's obvious this game wasn't properly tested before release. In fact, Trials Evolution Gold is the worst consolse port I've ever played. Yes, ever. I can't remeber having ever played a full game release this broken before, period. And the patch that's supposed to fix all of this is taking ages to come out. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't actually fix most of it at all.

I know you weren't actually the ones who ported this, RL, but the Trials series is still your baby. It's the sole reason you're a recognized and loved developer. And this port is ruining that for you, at least in the PC community. I want to love Trials Evolution Gold, but at the moment it's pissing me off more that it's making me happy. Maybe your new overlords at Ubisoft simply don't care, but I sure hope you do.

There was a closed beta before the public one, and I would agree tho, the public beta was just the game EARLY. BUT giving the players the game early allowed them to find issues early on so they could get a patch out sooner.

Stop "protecting" the developers if you don't have any point. OP here has a point which you don't, and he has the right to be frustrated. This whole game was falsely advertised as a properly optimized version, which couldn't be further away from the truth. It's work in progress right now. And it is completely true that the community doesn't really have that much contact with the developers.

So if you don't have anything intelligent or useful to say, don't say it. Applicable to most of your posts.

Hey guys, you haven't been abandoned! We're here, and we do a bit of talking here on the RedLynx forum as well as the Steam Community page for Trials Evolution Gold Edition. We're aware that some people are having a less-than-optimal play experience with Trials Evolution Gold Edition, so we're are pretty busy working on it.
