Karmacoma's tracks here. First entry: "To Mill Around"

My first finished track (version .96). A fun little ride around the sawmill.
Difficulty is... a bit tricky, so I'd say it's an easy-hard.
Couple of things might still need some tweaking, but for now I'm rather satisfied.

my stupidly non-changeable Uplay name, btw: "das_n3rvt"
Track name: "To Mill Around v.96"

edit. new, fraps'ed video with a far from flaw- but faultless run.
in the meantime, someone beat it in 39.something. Looked nice

Huh? Interesting. While yesterday's upload *does* show up on TC, it doesn't work for me. No screenshot, no times, download fails.
This version now has some minor stuff changed (medal times, the likeliness of overshooting the jump on the collapsed bridge + cosmetics)

    However, glad you like it

Excellent, had a shot earlier today and I`m impressed...

    pros:
theme consistant, the obstacles etc are all in tune with the mill theme
track has a nice flow to it and multiple routes
checkpoints are well placed, also liked how you used checkpoints in diferent ways (ie as a light source etc)
    tags suit the track nicely
has some replay factor in it also
average trials player can complete it
doable with both joypad and keys

    cons:
Personally I would have labeled it as a medium track
Would liked to have seen more use of lighting effects

Well thought out, nice looking/flowing track... some extra tweaks could have been made but arent a necessity...
looking forward to seeing some more tracks in the future good job!!!

    Thanks, man.
I myself am not so convinced about the little bit of multiple route - the track started out as something different and now it feels a bit off; plus it's slightly annoying to get on top of the scaffold. Or, maybe the whole beginning is too bumpy? As for the lighting, actually, I'm considering even switching off the checkpoint lights. It's daylight and the place is mostly derelict...

After some thinking I absolutely agree with your objection to the set difficulty. I mean, I want the track to be ridden "hard" - as in: don't stop for the dynamite, bounce over the open crate, omit the pipes between the vents and jump far - but since I offer little helpers, yeah, I guess that does make it medium.

    Ah, well. "v.96", after all.

Future releases might make more use of the camera's possibilties, have an altered first bridge, the stacked boxes on the second bridge moved a wee bit to the right, and while I want to keep the aid of some planks for the final jump (too easy to not catch enough speed), there's too much aid right now.

Oh, and fireworks! In case the rider manages to fall into the dumpster

Nevermind, i'm dumb. Second time that i confuse a track for another. It was some other mill track and somehow i thought it was this.

Anyway, now that i'm 100% sure that i played your track , my opinion stays the same: awesome track.

That sub 40 will be tough to beat, wish I could see the replay.

I really like the line, any track that gets me speed running gets a fiver from me looking forward to more.

I like it a lot.. but those sections where it turns sharply (especially in mid-air,) really annoy me. It's just not anticipatable.. Great work on the aesthetics and some of the technical sections though. I find it very difficult to chose where to place the DL.. I feel you chose a great location.
