No he didn't. He's one of the few on trials gold who puts effort into his tracks. So stop spamming his thread.
Ok sorry, I thought he released ex tracks because of the exact names from the skill games.
basslineux001, I regret for this for my rude, hope you forgive me!

Thanks, it's great to hear you guys are liking them! Keeps me motivated to keep building. When I figure out how to capture replay's I'll upload them but so far I used fraps but couldn't get above 30fps lol. And bad quality replays don't do the tracks justice so I haven't uploaded them.

Yeah it is definitly a map you have to get used too. It's funny to see how lot's of people are taking the same route, and it's usually even one of the hardest. This was to encourage people to look for other routes but I guess not that many do lol (at least according to the replays). Maybe even should have set it on hard, seeing most of the people are having many faults. And I hope I will find one replay at least with the ufo theme on lol.

No harm done, I can imagine someone sharing three maps at once can look like they just throw them out there, but I have been working on them since my first release. I just wanted to have a few maps shared so if people like one they can find more tracks from me.

Already started working on a new one it seems it's going to be a (hard) hard or maybe extreme one. Haven't descided it yet

Please don't use plywood on the driveline, trust me it's no good. I just hate the way the bike reacts with it and how it clips the tires sometimes. Not a fan of rock either but I can usually deal with them.

Ok thanks for the advice, I'll take it into account for future tracks. If you have other constructive criticism about the tracks let me know! I know I can probably still do alot better so any help to improve is greatly appreciated!

About the rocks, it's needed for the theme but I'm going to make sure there doesn't happen any weird things like losing grip because your tire vanishes into the rock (else I use custom collisions). It will probably be a bit adjusting the first time since you have to feel the driving line a bit on the rocks but once you get used to it, you can get a smooth run on it. I like my tracks hard the first time (like ufo lol) so people feel the need to come back to master them, even if it doesn't take that long to do xd

    Re: bassline001's Tracks [update:UFO,Vertigo,Falling apart]

Even with all the plywood in UFO I still enjoyed it. By far my favorite track of yours. Falling apart was fun except for the elevator part. Was quite annoying not passing the part after I dropped down and having to do the elevator over again. A tip for rocks. I would advise using custom collisions on them as much as possible. Most of the flat rock pieces are ok but some of the jagged ones have inisible collision boxes you can't see. I would also advise not having so many don't hit your head obstacles like the most recent medium you released.

Yeah for the elevater, couldn't put a cp there bc you triggered it when going up. But I just should have made an easy jump after the elevator and put a cp there. Hadn't tought of that until I shared it already. But now I know what to do next time.

I probably won't use hit your head obstacles anymore, I did this in vertigo because I wanted to make it slower then the upper route but not necessarily harder but I guess I overdid it a bit.

I'm using only small rocks from the environment tab and it looks like they are working pretty well. I always had more problems with the big cliff parts and the pillars from vertigo (the tops). But I'll make sure the driving line is as optimal as possible.

Ya avoid using the cliff pieces those are the worst. Stick to the rocks, flat slabs are the best. I really don't like elevators in general buts that's personal preference.

    Re: bassline001's Tracks [update:UFO,Vertigo,Falling apart]

    Update

Added replays of the best times from my tracks (the fastest times of the replays who weren't broken, what's up with that RedLynx?!). First time I used fraps so, I'll probably redo them later when I get the hang of it because they are sometimes a bit laggy)

Somebody said to me a while ago he would love to see what the editor looked like, so I did a small video of my most complex track (Vertigo).

Plus some screenshots of the new track I'm working on. Nothing special. Yet!
